As a smaller company, we all wear many hats - and that's exactly what makes working here exciting.About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Engineering HMI Programmer who is passionate about automation, test systems, and software-driven solutions. The ideal candidate is a National Instruments LabVIEW expert who can collaborate with engineers and clients alike, translating technical needs into functional, reliable systems.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain LabVIEW applications for automation, data acquisition, and control systems.Proficient with other code languages such as C/C++, C#, VBA, Python, and IEC 61131-3 Languages for PLCs and/or ladder logic.Participate in full project lifecycles-from concept and design to implementation and validation.Work directly with customers to define requirements, troubleshoot systems, and ensure successful delivery.Support business development through technical discussions, proposals, and identifying new opportunities.Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers on integrated system solutions.Qualifications:Bachelor 's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience with LabVIEW (Certified LabVIEW Developer preferred).Excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience.Strong understanding of instrumentation, data acquisition, and control hardware.Hands-on experience programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar).Ability to troubleshoot across electrical, mechanical, and controls systems.Strong communication skills - comfortable talking with teammates and customers.Entrepreneurial mindset: enjoys rolling up sleeves to help wherever needed.Willingness to travel occasionally for customer support.Why Join Us: You'll help design and implement next-generation automation and testing systems while representing our firm directly to clients-an opportunity to grow both technically and professionally.Big impact on a small team - your work directly drives customer success and company growth.Variety - every system and project is unique, and you'll have opportunities beyond PLC programming.Career growth - as we expand, you'll shape not just projects, but also new customer relationships.Competitive pay and benefits, plus the chance to grow with us from the ground up.BenefitsMedicalDentalVision401kPaid Time Off/Paid HolidaysVidac Solutions is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer committed to a diverse workforce.
