*Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant — School-Based | McAlester or Eufaula, OK*

RehabVisions is seeking *Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants COTAs* for school-based therapy opportunities serving the *McAlester or Eufaula, Oklahoma* school districts. We currently have *three COTA openings* available.

These roles are primarily school-based, with the potential for limited virtual school support and/or Home Health coverage depending on caseload needs. This is a strong opportunity for a COTA who enjoys working with students, collaborating with supervising OTs, educators, and families, and supporting meaningful progress in a school setting.

School experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

*Position Highlights*

* Serving McAlester or Eufaula school districts in Oklahoma (in-person)
* Primary setting is approximately 75% school-based therapy
* Potential for approximately 25% virtual school support and/or Home Health coverage, which may apply depending on interests and abilities

*About the Role*

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with RehabVisions, you will help students build functional skills, increase independence, and participate more fully in their school environment. Under the direction of a supervising Occupational Therapist, you will implement treatment plans, support student progress, complete documentation, and communicate with families, school staff, and therapy team members.

While the primary focus is school-based therapy, limited virtual school support and/or Home Health coverage may be included based on the needs of the caseload.

*Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Responsibilities*

* Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Occupational Therapist
* Provide therapy services to students and patients based on individual needs
* Complete timely and accurate documentation
* Communicate with students, families, caregivers, teachers, physicians, and staff
* Collaborate with the supervising OT and therapy team
* Assist with therapy program development
* Support the general operation of the department

*Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements*

* Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
* Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
* Current Oklahoma COTA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
* School-based therapy experience preferred
* New graduates are encouraged to apply
* Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
