Working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will play a key role in dispensing medications accurately, supporting patients with professionalism, and keeping the pharmacy running smoothly. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, count, label, and dispense prescription medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
• Process third-party insurance claims and collect patient co-payments
• Maintain accurate patient profiles, prescription records, and inventory logs
• Communicate professionally with physicians, patients, and insurers
• Support front-end operations including greeting customers, answering phones, and assisting with OTC product location
• Keep the pharmacy environment clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Comply with all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and HIPAA guidelines

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Creole speaking candidates HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Spanish speaking candidates HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Active Pharmacy Technician License from the Board of Pharmacy in the state of employment
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in computer skills and pharmacy software systems
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
