Job Description:

• Provide back office medical assistance in a high-volume outpatient clinic, focusing on colorectal specialty care.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort, privacy, and clear communication throughout their visit.
• Perform patient care tasks within scope, such as obtaining vital signs, documenting medical histories, and updating patient records in the electronic health record system.
• Perform insurance verification and related data entry to support accurate billing and smooth patient check-in processes.

Qualifications:

• 2+ Year of experience working as Medical Assistant is mandatory
• Medical Assistant Certificate is Mandatory

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hutto, TX.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
