Position: Retail Associate / Barista
Department: Retail & Food & Beverage
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour starting 9/8/2026
Employment Type: Full-Time

Mt. Olympus Resorts is seeking energetic, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a  Retail Associate / Barista . This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while preparing beverages, operating the point-of-sale system, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.

We are looking for team members who are available to work  full-time and can work  open-to-close shifts based on business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and other beverages according to company standards.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system.
• Serve food items and beverages while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
• Stock merchandise, food, beverages, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shop at all times, ensuring merchandise is neatly displayed and the store provides an inviting atmosphere for all guests.  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café and retail area.
• Assist guests with retail purchases and answer questions about products.
• Restock inventory and notify management of low stock levels.
• Follow all health, safety, and company policies.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while providing excellent customer service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment, counting cash, and preparing the area for the next shift.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Previous retail, cashier, barista, or food service experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule

This position requires  full-time availability with the flexibility to work  open-to-close shifts .

Hours vary based on the season:

• Summer: Typically 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Winter: Hours vary depending on seasonal operations and business needs.

Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Compensation & Growth

• Starting Pay: $13.50–$15.00 per hour, based on experience.
