Position Summary

The Family Center Coordinator reports to the Director of Community Programs and manages day-to-day family support activities for families with children from birth through school age in collaboration with the Parent Child+ Coordinator. Typical responsibilities include planning play groups and activities centered around STEAM, crafts, stories, music, and books, as well as surveying parents, creating marketing materials for programs, and managing the Parent Powered app. Knowledge of local resources, parenting supports, and child development will be essential in this role.

We have locations in Amherst, Huntington, and Worthington, as well as a school-based health center at Gateway Regional Middle/High School and a Community Center in Huntington.

Locations: Huntington, MA; Worthington, MA; travel throughout the hilltowns as needed

Hours: Part Time: 25 hours/ week; flexible schedule:  Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings are mandatory
