Contract | Full-Time | 10-Hour Day Shifts | Variable start times (6:30 AM, 8:30 AM, or 10:30 AM based on department needs) | Weekend rotation as needed | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating RN duties across a high-volume OR environment handling 40–50 cases per day across 11 ORs and 1 hybrid room
• Support surgical cases including orthopedic (sports medicine, total joints, ortho spine) , DaVinci Robotics , ENT, general, GYN, vascular, urology, and podiatry
• Participate in on-call coverage: expected 4–6 call shifts per 6-week period, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM, with a 30-minute response time requirement
• Participate in weekend rotation as determined by department needs
• Float to inpatient areas or the ER during low census periods; travelers will not take patient assignments, administer medications, or work outside their scope of practice (duties may include vital signs, sitter, stocking, or basic CNA-type tasks)
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or compact eligibility
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute/inpatient OR experience required
• Strong circulating experience across the case types listed above
• Strong orthopedic experience (sports medicine, total joints, ortho spine) and DaVinci Robotics experience required
• Must be available to work 7 days a week unless otherwise approved by department leadership

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Robotics experience with DaVinci or Mazar systems
• EPIC EMR proficiency (required for CAP backfill or preceptor roles)
• Experience with Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Demonstrated flexibility, teamwork orientation, reliability, and a positive attitude
