Junior Sourcing Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Aggressively source candidates for all open and proposal requisitions using specific keywords, Boolean search techniques, and other sourcing methods. Develop sourcing strategies to build a strong talent pipeline. Maintain an organized recruiting workflow, ensuring the timely delivery of all requisitions. Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates. Maintain accurate records of candidate information and status updates using the applicant tracking system (ATS) and spreadsheets.

SUPERVISION

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

1 + years of recruiting or staffing experience is preferred, along with an Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Highly motivated, adaptable, and resilient. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to successfully manage multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and networking skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with recruiters to develop sourcing strategies and techniques.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experienced in recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Clearance Jobs. Demonstrate success sourcing within government contracting environments, with preferred experience supporting MDA, USSF, and FBI.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
