Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2340 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS Opportunity RN - MedSurg Job Details 13-week contract with ASAP start date 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 36 guaranteed hours per week Every weekend schedule required with every other holiday rotation Float to Emergency Department within competency required Can be low censused and placed on call; call back minimum is 2 hours 25-bed Med/Surg unit with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 days and 1:6 nights Provide general nursing care primarily for geriatric patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, and diabetes Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required Emergency Department experience preferred but not required Strong charting experience with Epic EMR, CareScape patient monitors, and Pyxis required Current Michigan RN license and AHA BLS required ACLS preferred but not required Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred Any colored scrubs permitted Candidates with both Med/Surg and ED experience are highly preferred Facility This healthcare facility is a regional medical center serving the Iron River community and surrounding Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The facility operates a 25-bed Med/Surg unit alongside an Emergency Department, providing comprehensive inpatient and emergency care services to the local population.
