If you thrive on precision and collaboration, this role puts you at the heart of aerospace quality.Your impactFrom receiving through shipment, you’ll be the safeguard for conformity—partnering with Certified Inspectors, Product Quality Engineers (PQEs), Customer Logistical Certification and Shipping Reviewers (CLCSRs), and Designated Quality Representatives (DQRs) to ensure every requirement is met and documented.Your day, start to finishReceive & review: Execute incoming inspections to the plan and customer requirements; reconcile certs, test reports, and documentation to the PO, drawings, and specifications; obtain CLCSR approval where required.Prove the setup: Run first piece inspections to confirm tool offsets, fixtures, and processes before full production.Control the process: Perform in‑process inspections, flag defects or trends immediately, and verify rework effectiveness prior to release.Protect the customer: Complete final inspections to drawings, specs, and contract terms; collaborate with DQRs for customer documentation and final review.Close the loop: Log nonconformances in the QMS/ERP with precise detail; support MRB decisions, PQE root‑cause work, and 8D corrective actions; validate effectiveness at the product level.What you’ll need to excelExperience in manufacturing or aerospace inspectionAbility to interpret engineering drawings and GD&TComfort with precision tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages) and understanding CMM reportsMeticulous documentation and strong defect identification/communication skillsPreferred: exposure to AS9100 or ISO 9001; aerospace manufacturing experiencePerformance measuresComplete, accurate inspection documentationEffective first piece and in‑process detectionAccurate incoming certification reviewOn‑schedule inspection completionLow escape rate with strong prevention activityTimely, clear communication and escalationDemonstrated proficienciesGD&TQuality Inspection ExperienceTolerance AnalysisPrecision Measurement & Hand MetrologyAdvanced Inspection & Gauge MeasurementTools you’ll useCoordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) (Hexagon)Measurement GaugesCalipers and MicrometersSchedule & payFull‑time, Monday–Friday, first shiftOvertime as requiredCompensation depends on experience and certificationsIf you’re ready to keep defects from ever reaching a customer while helping teams improve every day, we’d love to meet you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
