Physical Therapist - Physical Therapy

Physical Therapist - Physical Therapy

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no call or weekend responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a specialty setting and be licensed in Louisiana. Candidates with experience managing a diverse caseload, including spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, amputees, and orthopedic surgeries, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a patient caseload independently across inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing, and specialty settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
  • Utilize EMR systems including EPIC, Meditech Expanse, Wellsky, and AOD.
  • Perform assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and safety requirements.
Qualifications
  • Current Louisiana PT license.
  • Experience with complex patient populations is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Supportive attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to attend departmental and hospital orientation.
Schedule & Hours
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • No weekend or holiday shifts.
  • No on-call duties.
  • Full case load expected within the first week of orientation.
