Survey Crew Party Chief

Position Overview Experienced Party Chief (Survey Foreman) in Huntsville, AL / North Alabama operations, reporting to the General Manager of Construction & Superintendent. Responsibilities include leading safety, quality, and revenue generation across existing and expanding operations. Responsibilities Determines elevations and lays out stakes for construction surveys Calls out readings and directs helpers to write station numbers and readings on grade stakes Marks points of measurement with elevation, station number, or other identifying mark Directs placements of stakes at designated points Enforces and abides by all safety regulations Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Uncompromising focus on safety excellence Years of prior surveying experience as Party Chief/Foreman or several years experience as a senior rodman with ability to operate survey equipment Ability to work outside in all weather and tolerate loud noises Ability to learn new tasks quickly Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed Self‑motivated, able to work without close supervision Compensation & Benefits Wages start at $28.00/hr, based on verifiable experience Day shift, company truck available for commute/official business only Overtime available Extensive medical and retirement benefits including 401(k) match Health Savings Account with annual company contribution Company‑provided Group Life and AD&D insurance Short- and long‑term disability insurance Paid holidays, including Christmas shutdown Paid vacation after 180‑day probationary period, accrued based on years of service Annual performance‑based merit increases EEO Statement It is the policy of Rogers Group, Inc. to recruit, hire, and promote individuals based on demonstrated merit and qualifications.
