Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Order Selector to join our refrigerated warehouse operations team. This position is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders consisting of refrigerated food products including meat, dairy, and produce.

Job Description

• Select cases, bags, and containers of refrigerated food products from multi-level rack storage systems
• Build customer orders accurately on pallets using order sheets or a Vox Audio Communication System
  
• Transport completed palletized orders to the loading dock staging area using an Electric Power Jack (EPJ) or forklift
  
• Wrap, label, and prepare completed orders for shipment
  
• Verify product counts and inspect for damaged merchandise
  
• Rotate date-sensitive inventory and maintain product freshness standards
  
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, dock, and trailer area
  
• Remove and properly dispose of empty pallets, cardboard, and packing materials
  
• Perform equipment inspections and complete required safety checklists
  
• Replace or recharge equipment batteries as needed
  
• Rotate between order selecting and trailer loading duties as assigned
  
• Complete all required documentation and secure equipment at the end of the shift
  
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards
• Shift time is Sunday to Thursday, 4pm to finish

Skills Required

• 6 months to 1 year of warehouse or EPJ experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to safely perform all warehouse job functions
• Ability to follow instructions and meet productivity standards
• Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shifts and overtime as required
• Previous experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) preferred
• Ability to lift and handle boxes averaging 35–65 lbs.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Pay Rate

• $18 pe r hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
