ER Registered Nurse (RN)Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Unit (ED) who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member.As an ER RN you will be responsible for:Admitting and assessing patientsAdministering medication and treatmentsMonitoring vital signs and symptomsRunning and ordering testsCoordinating care with Physicians and SpecialistsCharting Patient ProgressRequired Skills & Qualifications:Paying attention to detail and staying organized when managing patient care and record keepingCompassionately communicating with patients and family members.Understanding applicable state regulations and following compliance practicesAssessing patient condition and noting it accurately according to the facility's charting practicesGraduate of an accredited associate degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing Preferred.Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state.
