How youll contribute as an employee of TRH Fort Worth you will join a team that embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication essential for the delivery of patient care. You will work with a team committed to ensure patients receive optimal medical attention and support. As an LPN you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse delivering treatments assisting in assessments and supporting interdisciplinary care planning in accordance with the patients needs.

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identified patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides patient and family teaching throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge.
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Works cooperatively and actively participates with other members of the interdisciplinary team.

What we are looking for a licensed LVN passionate about patient care

• Graduate of accredited licensed practical/vocational program.

• Current state licensure as Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.

• CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.

• IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.

• Minimum one year LPN experience required andsix months Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
