Marketing and Social Media Specialist

Location: Traverse City, MI (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office per week)

About The Position:

Trivector Manufacturing is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing & Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team.

This hands-on role offers the opportunity to support marketing initiatives across three distinct brands within the Trivector Manufacturing family of companies : Only Alpha Pool Products, Structural Armor WRS, and Trivector Manufacturing itself.

You'll help bring marketing initiatives to life through social media, digital content, email communications, and day-to-day marketing coordination. Working across multiple brands, you'll gain experience with different audiences, products, and marketing strategies.

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can take ownership of projects, contribute fresh ideas, and work independently while collaborating with a team.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

• Manage day-to-day social media activities across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
• Coordinate content across three distinct brands, ensuring each maintains its unique voice, messaging, and visual identity.
• Develop engaging content ideas, create posts, and maintain a consistent social media presence.
• Schedule and publish content, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and inquiries as appropriate.
• Create graphics, captions, short-form videos, and other digital content.
• Track social media performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement.

Marketing Communications

• Create and coordinate monthly internal and external email newsletters.
• Write, edit, and proofread marketing communications and promotional content.
• Help maintain consistent brand messaging across marketing channels.

Marketing Coordination & Administrative Support

• Assist the Director of Marketing with coordinating projects, timelines, and deliverables.
• Organize and maintain marketing materials, digital assets, and project files.
• Coordinate ordering of promotional materials, printed collateral, and marketing supplies.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to support marketing initiatives.
• Assist with reporting, data organization, and other marketing-related administrative tasks.

Campaigns & Events

• Support the execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
• Assist with trade show preparation, including coordinating materials, promotional items, and logistics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather information, photos, and content for marketing initiatives.
  

Qualifications:

Required

• Associate's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional marketing, communications, or social media experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong proofreading abilities.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience creating content for major social media platforms.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar productivity tools.
• Comfortable learning new software, technology, and digital marketing tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in using them to improve creativity, productivity, and workflow efficiency.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow projects through to completion.
• A positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Canva or similar graphic design tools.
• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Loomly.
• Basic photography, video creation, and editing skills, including short-form social media content.
• Experience supporting marketing campaigns, events, or trade shows.
  

Work Environment

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Traverse City, Michigan, with a flexible schedule typically requiring 2–3 days per week in the office.

Occasional travel may be required, primarily to our manufacturing facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
