Senior Director, Quality Control (QC Head)

Responsibilities

Lead all Quality Control functions including analytical, microbiology, raw materials, and stability across small molecule and biologics
Define and execute site QC strategy aligned with global quality and business objectives
Ensure GMP compliance, inspection readiness, and regulatory representation during audits
Build and develop high-performing QC teams with structured training and succession planning
Drive Lean Laboratory principles, continuous improvement initiatives, and QC performance metrics

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in science with 14+ years pharma/biotech experience, or Master's with 12+ years, or PhD with 12+ years
Significant leadership experience in Quality Control within GMP-regulated environment
Experience supporting commercial manufacturing, PPQ, and technical transfers
Strong people leadership and talent development capabilities
Experience with global QC initiatives, network harmonization, and cross-site collaboration
Excellent cross-functional communication and executive-level stakeholder engagement skills
