Optum NY/NJ is seeking a patient-centric Diagnostic Radiologist to join their growing team in Bethpage, NY. This role is an integral part of Optum Care Delivery, a clinician-led organization focused on improving healthcare. Practice Info Collegial multispecialty group practice with a large referral base Focus on team-based care Excellent support staff and dedicated practice management systems Full complement of clinical and administrative support teams, including a dedicated Medical Assistant for each provider Modern imaging technology, PACS systems, and efficient automated dictation templates Radiology Department covers multiple imaging sites in the tri-state region Responsibilities Provide high quality and timely interpretations Offer state-of-the-art imaging such as tomosynthesis mammography Perform image-guided procedures including all types of breast biopsies, thyroid biopsies, fluoroscopy, joint steroid injections, and arthrograms Utilize home workstations for flexibility and improved coverage for urgent cares Communicate effortlessly within the department and with referring colleagues using a large multi-specialty group on one dedicated EMR with additional sharing technology Utilize advanced imaging systems and dictation tools Compensation Guaranteed, competitive compensation model based on quality, not quantity, with significant earning potential, potential annual increases, and bonus eligibility Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $442,500 - $748,000 Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role Physician Partnership opportunities and incentives Benefits Financial stability and support of a Fortune 5 Company Robust retirement offerings including employer funded contributions and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP for UHG Stock) Comprehensive benefits plan inclusive of medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, CME and malpractice coverage Robust clinician learning and development programs Shift & Schedule Flexible Monday-Friday onsite and remote schedule offered Flexible on-site and remote reading opportunities Requirements Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start Board Certification or board eligibility in Radiology Preferred: Body or breast experience Preferred: MSK experience Preferred: Neuro experience
