Production Associate I
Our client, a leader in food production and processing, is seeking a Production Associate I to join their team. As a Production Associate I, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to efficient food processing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Range: $21
Shift: Afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 3PM to 12:30AM, with potential overtime and Saturday work
What's the Job?
- Process fresh-cut food orders for shipment, including cutting, portioning, tumbling, packing, and palletizing
- Operate production machinery and safely handle knives and other tools
- Package products to meet delivery timelines and quality standards
- Follow all safety policies and report issues promptly
- Support additional tasks as assigned by leadership to ensure smooth operations
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift between 15-60 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working in refrigerated environments at 38F
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or food production preferred
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork
