In this role, you’ll support the planning and design of electric transmission projects that help move power from generation sources to the communities, businesses, and customers who depend on it. This is a great opportunity to build your technical foundation while working alongside experienced designers and engineers on essential infrastructure projects tied to grid reliability, modernization, and long-term energy delivery.What You'll Do:Produce and revise simple engineering drawings or sketches under the guidance of senior designers or engineers, following established technical standardsExamine drawings for accuracy and quality with support from senior team membersParticipate in project review meetings and accompany senior staff on field assignments when appropriateUtilize drawing production software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and REVIT to create construction documentsAssist with contract document preparation in order to develop familiarity with electric transmission codes, standards, and design practices What You Bring:Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Science, or a related technical field required No prior experience required—related document production experience preferredStrong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solvingFamiliarity with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, etc.) and a willingness to learn electric transmission design practicesWhy You'll Love It Here:Build hands-on design experience while supporting critical transmission infrastructure that keeps power moving reliablyLearn from experienced utility professionals on projects tied to grid resiliency, modernization, and energy deliveryCurious about the impactful work our Electric Transmission team is doing? Salary Range:$31.25 - $33.65Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
