Our newly remodeled Flagship Store is open, and we're looking for enthusiastic Event Staff to help create memorable experiences for our customers.

Position Purpose:  

\n

As a temporary, part-time Events Team Guide, you'll be the heartbeat of our campus, delivering world-class service with a smile. You'll be the face of the L.L.Bean brand, engaging customers, executing large and small scale events, and fostering a spirit of teamwork. Your role will be ever-changing and exciting, indoors and outdoors, adapting to the needs of the day while showcasing our event activities and your service expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  Engage Customers: Approach and assist multiple customers, providing personal and genuine service interactions. 

\n

\n

\n

  Drive Sales: Convert every customer interaction into a sales opportunity, driving brand loyalty through exceptional service. 

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Build Relationships: Establish connections with customers, share expertise, and demonstrate a passion for learning and sharing product knowledge.

  Advocate for Customers: Listen actively to understand customer needs and solve problems efficiently at the first point of contact.

  Leverage Technology: Use Point of Sale, and mobile devices to provide seamless, fast omni-channel service. 

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Promote Initiatives: Drive excitement around L.L.Bean sponsored programs, including Outdoor Discovery Program and the L.L.Bean Mastercard program. 

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Maintain Standards: Ensure a well-organized store, uphold visual and merchandising standards, and support store operations processes. 

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Collaborate: Work as part of a team to achieve results, create a positive work environment, and adapt to changing business needs. 

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Health and Safety: Contribute to a safe and healthy workplace by following all safety policies and procedures.

Physical Demands:  

\n

  Required to stand, walk during shift; talk or hear, both in person and by headset; Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps  

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 20 pounds

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Occasionally move and lift objects up to 40 pounds (utilizing a team lift as needed)

• \n

  Required to work outdoors, year-round, in varied temperatures.

L.L.Bean uses a market-based compensation approach. The anticipated starting base pay for this position is $16.10. Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, education, geographic location, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.\n
