Shipping and Receiving ClerkWarehouse & Logistics Temp to Hire On-Site Posted 14 hours, 48 minutes ago Wage negotiable W2Job DescriptionJob Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk (Cold Storage Environment)Location: ColdTrack Facility Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $19/hourJob Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in a cold storage environment. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring smooth communication with drivers, carriers, and clients.Key Responsibilities:Process inbound and outbound shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting for damageLoad and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts while following safety proceduresAccurately enter shipment data into warehouse management systems (WMS)Prepare shipping documents, labels, and manifestsCoordinate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveriesMaintain organization of the shipping and receiving areaPerform cycle counts and assist with inventory auditsFollow all safety, OSHA, and food-grade handling guidelinesWork in cold storage conditions (freezer environment) while using proper PPERequirements:Ability to speak and understand English to effectively communicate with drivers, clients, and carriersBasic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Excel is a plus (training provided)Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferredAbility to work in cold temperatures for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
