Registered Nurse (RN) - OR General Surgery

Role: Registered Nurse in a collaborative, patient-centered care environment. Responsibilities: Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement individualized care plans addressing patients' physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs, under supervision of the Nurse Manager. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery and patient safety. Qualifications: Graduate of a nursing school Current unrestricted RN license in Connecticut Basic Life Support (BLS) certification One year of experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program Ability to read, understand, and communicate complex information effectively Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and ability to handle stressful situations Basic computer skills Preferred Skills and Certifications: BSN or MSN, two or more years in specific clinical areas, and certifications such as CNOR.
