Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active NC or compact RN license and 1-2 years of MST experience.

Details

• work in a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital
• Serves patients of all ages
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend work required, with additional weekends as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) valid in North Carolina
• Current certifications: BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• 1-2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MST) nursing experience required
• Professional demeanor required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within a Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center accredited facility
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable, with no casual attire permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
