Lead Medical Assistant — Concierge Wellness & Hormone Optimization

Who We Are

Silk Life Medical is a Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) and medical weight loss practice in Lakewood. About 200 active members, most of whom we care for virtually. No insurance. No assembly-line medicine. Members pay us every month because we actually listen, dig in, and give them their energy and confidence back.

Owned and run by a PA who built the practice from scratch six years ago. We’re rebuilding LEAN — one to two exceptional Medical Assistants working directly with the owner, not a team of ten. The bar is high because the seat matters.

Who We’re Hiring

One exceptional Medical Assistant to own both back-office clinical work AND front-office patient experience. You’d be the owner’s right hand across everything:

Clinical:  Phlebotomy, injections, assisting with BHRT pellet procedures, preparing compounded medications with zero-error accuracy, managing refills and lab follow-through so nothing slips.

Patient-Facing:  Being the warm, polished, professional voice patients hear when they call, text, walk in, or ask a question. Educating members on their treatment plans (we’ll train you on the clinical side). Engaging members in a way that keeps them enrolled, adherent, and referring their friends.

Ownership:  Notice when something is broken. Fix it. Build the system so it can’t break again. Leave things better than you found them.

Compensation & Benefits

•   Starting rate: $28–$32/hr based on demonstrated experience

•   Clear path to $34+/hr with defined milestones at 60 days and 6 months

•   $200/month health insurance stipend to offset your ACA or spouse plan

Schedule:  Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5 PM. In-person at our Lakewood office.

Required

•   2+ years clinical MA experience

•   Independent phlebotomy skills

•   Confident giving injections independently

•   Strong math (dilutions, dose calculations, refill timing)

•   Extreme attention to detail– when preparing compounded medications, a small occasional mistake can have high consequences for our patients

•   High-end organization skills to manage multiple tasks throughout the day.

•   Reliable attendance and punctuality — non-negotiable in a lean shop

•   Professional presentation and communication style

•   Tech-Savvy – we are primarily telehealth and rely on Healthie, Asana, Dropbox, Outlook and AI – if you don’t know them, you need to be motivated and able to learn them quickly and independently.

We Can Teach You. You Have To Bring You.

We can teach you BHRT, peptides, weight-loss protocols, our EHR, and every specific workflow in our clinic. We can’t teach you how to be warm, detail-obsessed, driven, and genuinely enthusiastic about the work. If you bring the second, we’ll happily invest in the first.

Top of the Pile If You Have

•   Both front-desk AND back-office MA experience

•   Sales, patient retention, or membership program experience

•   Startup or small-business background — you like wearing multiple hats where your role matters

•   CMA / RMA / CCMA certification

•   BHRT, medical weight loss, peptides, or aesthetic wellness experience
