Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) – ASME Fabrication
\nJob Location: Hartville, Ohio
\nJob Type: Full time – Dayshift
\nMITCO Fabrication & Welding LLC – Northeast Ohio
\nMITCO is hiring a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support fabrication of ASME pressure vessels and piping (Section VIII Div. 1, Section I, B31.1, B31.3).
\nWhat You’ll Do
\n- \n
- Perform in-process and final inspections \n
- Verify compliance with WPS/PQR/WPQ (ASME Section IX) \n
- Inspect welds (VT) and support NDE (PT/MT/RT/UT) \n
- Review fit-up, materials, and fabrication quality \n
- Interface with Authorized Inspector (AI) \n
- Complete inspection reports and turnover documentation \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- AWS CWI (required) \n
- 3+ years in ASME fabrication or industrial piping \n
- Strong knowledge of: \n
- ASME Section VIII, Section I, B31.1 or B31.3 \n
- Welding and inspection practices \n
- Ability to read drawings and weld symbols \n
Also Considered

- ASNT Level II/III (VT, MT, PT) in lieu of CWI (or in addition) \n
- Experience with pressure vessels or power/process piping \n
