Industrial Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Ensure all machinery, equipment, building structures and facilities are maintained and functioning properly. Perform maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment, including mold presses, pneumatic/hydraulic presses, PLC‑controlled equipment, electrical testing and miscellaneous plant equipment. Participate in the preventative maintenance program to insure optimum machine utilization. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on equipment, providing short‑term and long‑term recommendations. Provide timely and detailed information to management on equipment status, corrective actions and updates during shifts. Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed. Maintain equipment, parts and supplies inventories: check stock, anticipate needs, place and expedite orders, verify receipt. Obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts and place orders as required. Support ATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 procedures and a quality‑first approach to daily tasks. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and adhere to health and safety standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school certificate or equivalent. Minimum of 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (electric and machine repair). Self‑directed with a professional attitude. Strong teamwork, communication and analytical problem‑solving skills. Working knowledge of PC and PLC equipment and systems. Ability to lift at least 45 pounds.
