Real World Data Analytics Project Manager

The Real World Data Analytics (RWDA) team partners with various stakeholders to design and deliver innovative analytics solutions that help them make better decisions, reduce costs, and/or drive efficiencies. We are looking for a passionate and highly capable project manager who will be able to help drive innovation through the implementation and delivery of client and innovative solutions. This position will plan and manage projects of moderate-to-high complexity in the RWD Analytics function.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee complex projects with significant organizational impact.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of moderate to highly complex projects with significant impact to the organization.
• Create and update comprehensive Microsoft Project schedules, RAID logs, and high-level timelines for all assigned projects, ensuring effective monitoring and control of project deliverables and outcomes that align with the business priorities.
• Execute multiple projects with remote teams and competing priorities.
• Engage with vendors, suppliers, partners and project team to establish and achieve project goals.
• Communicate regularly to inform the team of upcoming deliverables, action items, decisions, and risks.
• Cultivate relationships across teams while serving as the key project contact.
• Schedule and lead status meetings with stakeholders to manage expectations.
• Facilitate project and ad-hoc meetings, including:
• Schedule necessary meetings to drive project activities forward.
• Issue written agendas in advance of meetings.
• Take notes live during meetings to drive clarity and alignment on actions and decisions.
• Post meeting minutes and actions within 24 hours of meeting.
• Follow up on resulting action items between meetings and drive to completion.

Skills:

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of JIRA, Spotfire & Microsoft Project
• Strong planning, organizational, relationship, leadership, and meeting facilitation skills
• Bias for action, excellent attention to detail, and relentless commitment to follow-through

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business management, information technology, or equivalent experience
• Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies
• Five or more years of experience managing projects
• Demonstrated experience managing large teams on complex high-profile projects
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and Kanban.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient in JIRA & Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or other advanced
• Completion of MS Project training
• Project management experience in biotech, pharmaceutical industry, or clinical trials
• Experience managing projects involving data, databases, software development, machine learning, or AI
• Project Management certification (PMP)
