Criminal Defense Attorney for AI Model Training

Role Overview
Apply criminal defense expertise to help train next-generation AI systems for legal innovation. This remote contract role relies on high-quality, real-world legal analysis, feedback, and simulation content. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex criminal law scenarios and develop detailed resolution frameworks.
- Draft, review, and refine legal materials, including pleadings, motions, and trial strategies.
- Assess case materials to identify legal issues, arguments, and procedural considerations.
- Evaluate ethical issues in criminal defense practice and define best practices for AI learning modules.
- Provide expert commentary on trial advocacy and courtroom procedures.
- Create high-fidelity simulations based on real-world criminal defense practice for AI model training.
- Work with project managers and interdisciplinary teams to maintain accurate, relevant deliverables.
Qualifications
- Extensive criminal defense experience at a BigLaw or major law firm.
- Demonstrated litigation and trial advocacy experience involving complex criminal matters.
- Strong criminal law knowledge, legal writing, case analysis, and legal reasoning skills.
- Sound ethical judgment and a thorough understanding of professional standards in criminal defense.
- Experience reviewing, preparing, or teaching case strategy and procedural safeguards.
- Familiarity with technology-assisted legal research and digital case management.
- A record of contributing to professional development, legal education, or innovation initiatives is valued.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $140 to $400 per hour.
