Maintenance Team RoleYour day-to-day impact:You'll play a vital role in our Maintenance team by:Replacing defective parts of machine or adjusting clearances and alignment of moving partsAligning machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobsConnecting power unit to machines or steam piping to equipment, and testing unit to evaluate its mechanical operationRepairing and lubricating machines and equipmentAssembling and installing equipment, using hand tools and power toolsPositioning steel beams to support bedplates of machines and equipment, using blueprints and schematic drawings, to determine work proceduresSignaling crane operator to lower basic assembly units to bedplate, and align unit to centerlineInserting shims, adjusting tension on nuts and bolts, or positioning parts, using hand tools and measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary partsMoving machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucksAttaching moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly unit, using hand tools and power toolsAssembling machines, and bolting, welding, riveting, or otherwise fastening them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power toolsLaying out mounting holes, using measuring instruments, and drilling holes with power drillBolting parts, such as side and deck plates, jaw plates, and journals, to basic assembly unitLeveling bedplate and establishing centerline, using straightedge, levels, and transitDismantling machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand toolsShrink-fitting bushings, sleeves, rings, liners, gears, and wheels to specified items, using portable gas heating equipmentDismantling machinery and equipment for shipment to installation site, usually performing installation and maintenance work as part of teamConstructing foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials such as wood, cement, and steelOperating engine lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specificationsPerforming rigging activities, safety-related functions and other miscellaneous electrical functionsDemonstrating safe and proficient use of shop tools (both hand and power)Demonstrating mechanical knowledgeMust possess demonstrated ability to safely utilize a forklift and high liftMust be physically capable of performing work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair equipmentPerforming installation and maintenance work as part of a team of skilled trade workersPerforming Welding and Fabrication functions as assignedMust have experience with fluid systems for installing, troubleshooting and maintaining (Hydraulics and Pneumatics)Performing duties in a work environment that will be hot, cold, dirty and fast-pacedSelf-starter yet able to take orders as directedOther duties as assignedWhat you bring:We're looking for candidates who are sharp, safety-focused, and ready to roll up their sleeves:1 to 2 years Millwright experienceHigh School diploma or equivalentCandidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background, drug and work screenMust be available to work 12 hour day and night shifts, weekends, call-outs and overtimeWhat you'll gain:Get paid for what you know - and earn more as you learn more.Opportunities to work on cutting-edge equipmentA culture that values your input and celebrates improvementReal growth potential in a stable, essential industryAnd benefits that include:Medical, Dental, and Vision CoverageCompany-Paid Life Insurance & Short/Long-Term DisabilityProfit Sharing: Up to 4%401(k): Company match 4.5% with no vesting periodMonthly Bonus ProgramPaid Parental Leave: For birthing and non-birthing parents, including adoptionsPaid Holidays: 10 days, plus 1 personal floating holidayPaid Vacation TimePaid PTO TimeDiscretionary Performance-Based Bonus ProgramTuition ReimbursementWellness ReimbursementStock Purchase PlanSafety isn't negotiable, it's who we are.
