Shop Mechanic - Transmountain Equipment

Shop Mechanic
Help diagnose, repair and maintain our equipment fleet and concrete batch plant.
Essential functions and responsibilities listed below :
- Disassembles, repairs, removes, and replaces components in gasoline engines, diesel engines, and concrete batch plant
- Helps the lead mechanic troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- Lubricates and services vehicles, equipment or machinery and maintains accurate record of such service
- Requests repair parts and lubrication supplies as needed
Operate hand tools to repair equipment or machinery
The employee in this job must be knowledgeable about and follow the company's safety policies and procedures as described in the company's safety manual.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Diesel experience desired, but we will train if needed, certificate from college or technical school; or twelve months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
