AUTOMOTIVE ACCOUNTING CLERK

Automotive Accounting Clerk Coconut Point Honda - Estero, FL 33928 Job Summary The Automotive Office Assistant and Biller accurately records the sale, profits, and commissions payable on all sold units, and maintains accurate accounting of vehicle inventories. Duties & Responsibilities Bill all new and used car deals and post into account. Receipt all monies received for new and used car deals. Organize all paperwork in each deal; check for completeness. Process pay-off checks for trade-ins and mail to appropriate financial institution in a timely manner. Generate and maintain the salesperson's commission reports and list of commissions on hold. Process new car title work and route used car title work to the Tag & Title Clerk when the deal is funded. Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Environment This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time. Occasional bending and standing Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a Non-Exempt, full-time hourly position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand. Qualifications Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years of dealership experience or similar environment. 6+ months as dealership biller preferred. ADP Experience preferred. Basic working knowledge of accounting.
