Senior Facilities Project ManagerElement has an opportunity for a Senior Facilities Project Manager. In this role, you will be a member of the Mobility Division's Leadership Team who are responsible for leading a group of labs that support the automotive markets as well as battery markets. You will work with the members of the Mobility Team to develop plans, seek approval, and execute projects On Quality, On Time, and On Budget. This role reports to the VP of the Mobility division.ResponsibilitiesWork with the Mobility Leadership Team to prepare Capital Expenditures and Plans for approval.Complete sophisticated analyses and make data-based recommendationsPrepare presentationsLead Project Execution in collaboration with stakeholders across the businessNegotiate with outside vendorsObtain multiple bids from contractorsWork with contractors on commercial projectsTrack and prepare project updatesPresent project updates to the divisional as well as business unit leadershipSkills / QualificationsA bachelor's degree in project management, business management, or a similar field, with an MBA preferredA minimum of 3 year's experience as a PMO analyst, project manager, or a similar roleExcellent knowledge of project management strategies, processes, and toolsExperience working with contractors on commercial projectsAbility to analyze a range of complex data and make decisions based on analytical findingsGreat computer skills and knowledge of PMO software tools, such as MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Power BI, MS Project and MS AccessStrong program coordination and administration abilities.Good critical thinking and problem-solving skillsSolid communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressureCompany OverviewElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
