Program Analyst

POSITION: Program Analyst US Citizenship and possess an active DoD Secret security clearance. BA/BS degree in Business, Management, or relevant technical discipline. LOCATION: Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret POSITION TYPE/STANDARD WORK HOURS: Full-time/40 hours per week

POSITION SUMMARY

Analyze program requirements, status, budgets, and schedules.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform program management technical, and business case analyses Participate as a member of the specified Program IPT and IPT directed business meetings Collect, complete, organize, and interpret technical data and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs Track program and project status and schedules Apply policies and procedures for financial planning

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

OR an AA/AS degree plus 4 additional years of experience. OR 6 additional years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree. Above Degree, AND: At least 4 years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline to include: 2 years of professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development. Demonstrated experience in PMA program/project status and schedules. Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD policy and documentation related to the planning-programming- budgeting system (PPBS), life-cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series). Must have experience processing program acquisition, funding and contract documentation for military programs.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency using MS Excel.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not supervise the work of others.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.

Very little.

COMPENSATION / SALARY RANGE

BTAS adheres to federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Full-Time, Salary, Exempt position. The salary range will be $80,000 - $95,000 but contingent and subject to a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc.
