What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
  • Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to formulate and implement treatment plans
  • Use the nursing process to evaluate patient progress and modify care as needed
  • Document patient care effectively and accurately in electronic health records
  • Educate patients and families about treatment, procedures, and health management
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols

What You Need

Required:
  • Current Louisiana RN license
  • 2+ years of ER nursing experience
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Proficiency in computer and medical software applications
  • Strong communication, organizational, and judgment skills
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or higher
  • Certification in specialty areas within emergency nursing
