Benefits can be viewed at Position Summary Accounts Payable Specialist – Cleveland office, hybrid. Join our growing accounting team and advance your A/P skills in a fast‑paced environment. Position Responsibilities Reviews and exports invoices and expenses from Emburse. Verifies invoices have accurate allocation before export. Issues checks through the ERP systems. Monitors accounts, invoices and vendor payments to clarify any unusual items or prices. Responds to vendor inquiries. Reconciles vendor statements, researches and corrects discrepancies. Assists with the month‑end and year‑end closing processes. Maintains accurate records, files and necessary documentation. Audits and processes credit card bills. Communicates properly and promptly with Benesch personnel and external contacts, exhibiting a high level of customer service. Prepares information for year‑end 1099's. Understands accounting rules and Firm policies for approval or rejection process. Assists with special projects, process improvement opportunities and support to the Accounting department as needed. Other duties as defined. Confidentiality Due to the nature of the role, various documents and information of a confidential nature will be in your possession. All must be kept confidential at all times. Qualifications Self‑starter able to meet deadlines and maintain excellent customer service attitude. High School Diploma, any post‑high school coursework preferred. 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and data entry. Ability to use a 10‑Key calculator by touch and type at a speed of 60 WPM. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, good organizational skills, strong commitment to client service. Willingness to work overtime is essential. Salary range: $56,000 – $73,000 per year. Benefits and Compensation The salary range for the position is $56,000 – $73,000 per year, and may vary based on market location and job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
