Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

For the upcoming academic year, this full-time, onsite position offers the chance to be an influential figure as the district welcomes its first BCBA to the team.

As a data-driven professional, you’ll bring your expertise to three school sites, engaging with both general education and special education classrooms. Your efforts will focus on advancing best practices in behavioral support, working closely with teachers, school psychologists, and staff to positively impact students’ learning experiences.

Qualifications:

• Active BCBA certification required
• Prior experience in educational settings strongly preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Strong ability to develop and implement evidence-based behavior intervention plans
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working with diverse student populations, including those requiring emotional support
• Must provide a redacted FBA sample and professional references for consideration

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct services to students at three district school sites
• Conduct behavioral observations and comprehensive FBAs across diverse educational settings
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
• Collaborate extensively with teachers, school psychologists, and support staff
• Participate as an active member of IEP teams
• Serve as a resource and advisor in the district’s growing behavioral services
