Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, ensuring each step of the procedure is communicated with empathy
• Work in tandem with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing any technical issues swiftly
• Keep accurate records and documentation of procedures in the electronic medical platform
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and recommendations

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Active registration by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is recommended
