LPN – Correctional/Public Health Nursing

Requirements:

• Active New York LPN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and administer medications
• Conduct health assessments
• Collaborate effectively with RNs, providers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Work in a structured, fast-paced correctional environment with comprehensive security support

Compliance / Notes:

• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Submittal documentation includes SSN and DOB, RTO, valid state license, and BLS certification
• Accepts first-time and local travelers at the same rate; returning staff must be away for 2 years from any New York state facility
