About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Catheterization Laboratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience. Preferably have experience in electrophysiology (EP), EPIC, and MacLab. License: Any active state RN license or compact license is accepted. Certifications: ACLS BLS Must-Have: Experience in diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiovascular procedures, and electrophysiological studies. Ability to manage and interpret dysrhythmias. Description: This position entails working in a fast-paced, high-acuity catheterization laboratory. The lab includes multiple electrophysiology labs and cath labs. Responsibilities include performing cardiac catheterizations, peripheral angiography, and therapeutic interventional procedures. You will provide peri-procedural care and education for patients. Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures alongside cardiologists and other specialists. Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures performed. Participate in on-call shifts, which occur once weekly and every fourth weekend. Potential for holiday on-call coverage as well. The role involves caring for adult patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures. Candidates must be comfortable floating to other areas of the facility based on patient needs. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is required.
