We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Flight Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a contractor in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Job Description: As a Flight Respiratory Therapist at Acute Air Ambulance, you will play a vital role in providing advanced respiratory care to patients during air medical transport. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care are met. Key Responsibilities: Provide respiratory care to patients during air transport, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy. Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans. Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained and ready for use. Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in respiratory care. Qualifications: Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) in the state of Florida. Minimum of 3 years of experience in respiratory care, with at least 1 year in a critical care or emergency setting. Experience in air medical transport is preferred but not required. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in high-stress environments. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Current Passport. Drug Screen and Background check required.
