Tool Room Attendant

Tool Room Attendant / Safety Coach Shop-Based Overview: Apache Workforce is hiring a Tool Room Attendant / Safety Coach to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for managing tool inventory, issuing equipment to employees, and supporting workplace safety initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a hands-on shop environment. What You’ll Be Doing: Maintain accurate records of issued tools and monitor tool room inventory Receive and log new tools and equipment into inventory Schedule and track preventative maintenance for tools and equipment Maintain documentation for reporting and compliance purposes Assist in enforcing safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies Report safety and environmental concerns to the EHS Manager Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, and safety boards Support ongoing development of safety programs (PPE, fire prevention, emergency action plans) Perform other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation Ability to mentor and guide employees on safety practices Strong communication skills (English – written and verbal required) Team-oriented with a proactive mindset Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Work performed in a non-climate-controlled shop environment Regular exposure to industrial conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently Standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day , up to 6 days per week Normal vision required (no color blindness) Safety Requirements: Steel-toe boots and hard hat required Safety glasses required at all times Earplugs recommended Why Join Apache Workforce?
