Staff Accountant - Manufacturing

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring financial records are accurate and complete. You'll work closely with the Assistant Controller and other departments to maintain strong financial controls while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Schedule: Full-Time, on-site What You\'ll Do Prepare and post journal entries Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze P&L accounts Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities Process fixed asset additions, disposals, depreciation, and related reporting Assist with sales and use tax reporting and other regulatory filings Assist with cycle counts and month-end inventory reporting as needed Help maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards Prepare financial reports and analyses for management Assist in preparing annual plan and other presentations Assist with internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation Assist the Accounting team to collect past dues and analyze causes of those aging amounts Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls Provide cross-functional accounting support as needed Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned What We\'re Looking For Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance required 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes Experience with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, manage deadlines, and work independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across departments Preferred: Experience with fixed asset accounting Preferred: Experience supporting financial statement preparation and external audits Preferred: Working knowledge of inventory accounting and reconciliation processes Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance Retirement savings plan Paid time off AeroControlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
