About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shifts available Hours per Shift: 8 to 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience License: Must hold a valid state license or compact license Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - One of the following: RCIS, RCVT, RCES Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program leading toward Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist registry - Must not have any prior license or background hits Description: Client is located in a beautiful coastal region, offering numerous outdoor recreational opportunities. The Cardiac Cath Lab performs minimally invasive cardiac procedures. The lab also has a full-service Electrophysiology program. Candidates may be assigned to support other Cardiovascular departments. Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call is required. Position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime. Daily shifts typically last between 8 to 10 hours based on procedural volume. All staff rotate call, averaging 12 call days per month, including weekends. Travelers must be willing to cover holiday call. Candidates with a history of any license or background issues will not be considered. Fit testing for respiratory equipment may be required. Candidates must pass an EKG test before starting. The EKG test assesses rhythm identification and interval measurements. Modules are required to be completed prior to starting the position. Only qualified candidates will be considered for this position.
