Director Of Accounting

Three Butterflies Consulting (3B) is a growing accounting and finance firm focused on early stage startups and privately held companies. We are a fully remote team in California and our clients are located throughout America. About You Dynamic, smart, and enthusiastic about early stage companies. Very strong understanding of GAAP technical accounting, including accounting research, across a broad range of topics such as revenue recognition, leases, software capitalization, cryptocurrency, and equity. Strong systems skills and experience with Rillet, Rimp, and Stripe strongly preferred. Stay current on and lead implementation of new accounting standards. Lead review of the monthly closes and financial reporting, including investor reporting. Maintain quality control and US GAAP compliance for clients. Develop techincal accounting training for the team. Ability to distill complex, technical and/or judgmental accounting concepts into clear and concise presentations for internal and external audiences. Design, implement and maintain effective internal controls processes, accounting policies, and accounting procedures. Public accounting and startup experience preferred, active CPA required. Undergraduate in Accounting or Business is required. Masters or MBA is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
