cb20 is looking for an Audio-Visual Purchasing Specialist to add to our finance team. Ideal candidate will have an accounting/finance/business degree and one to two years of related work experience. Youre the person who keeps the AV supply chain moving. You know the market, you understand how gear flows globally, and you negotiate with confidence. This role owns sourcing and procurement for audiovisual equipment and services across the organization from identifying suppliers to managing contracts, pricing, and performance. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for AV equipment and services.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality, and lead time.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and longterm agreements to secure competitive value.
• Generate and manage purchase orders with accuracy and urgency.
• Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and maintain continuity of supply.

• Monitor supplier performance, quality, and reliability, address gaps proactively.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and stay ahead of pricing trends and market shifts.
• Conduct market research to identify costsaving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.
• Manage commodity categories within the AV ecosystem, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

• Partner with project managers, engineers, and internal stakeholders to understand AV requirements.
• Provide clear leadtime expectations, procurement timelines, and product availability updates.
• Recommend product substitutions or alternatives when constraints arise.
• Communicate consistently with internal teams and suppliers to keep everyone aligned.

Inventory, Documentation & Compliance

• Support inventory forecasting and stocklevel planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sourcing activities, contracts, and procurement records.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and auditready standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of procurement or commodity sourcing experience, ideally in the AV industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and proven success managing supplier relationships.
• Solid understanding of AV equipment, technology trends, and pricing strategies.
• Excellent communication and projectmanagement abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities with precision.

Preferred:

• Experience with AV integrators, manufacturers, or global technology suppliers.
• Familiarity with ERP/procurement platforms and AVIXA/CTS standards.
• Background in logistics, inventory management, or global supply chain operations.
