Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,029–$2,048 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: Weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Start date: 09/14/2026 Setting: LDRP unit in a hospital (Roswell, NM); travel assignment Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients across the LDRP continuum (labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum) Support vaginal deliveries and cesarean-related recovery per unit guidelines; manage couplet care for mother and newborn Perform newborn assessments, thermoregulation monitoring, and initial management of hypoglycemia; assist with phototherapy as needed Deliver breastfeeding and lactation support; assist with circumcision, episiotomy/incision care, and infant identification Triage obstetric patients, monitor maternal/fetal status, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services); participate in Rapid Response when required Document care in Epic; may float to similar units within scope as needed Requirements Current RN license to practice in New Mexico; NM/Compact licensure accepted if obtained prior to start BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience; charge experience and community hospital experience preferred Epic charting experience required Ability to work nights in an LDRP unit and float to like units as needed Travel-specific requirements: fingerprints/background checks; locals not accepted within 50 miles; pre-approved time off (RTO) listed at submittal; max 4 days RTO auto-approved Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and ongoing support throughout the assignment 24/7 travel support and credentialing assistance Fast credentialing process with onsite orientation; RN modules typically 4–6 hours (non-billable) Nationwide travel assignments with extension opportunities About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
