Security Agent

Description Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) of Northlake is looking to hire a Part-Time Security Agent! Our workforce will reflect the diversity of the City. We are looking to build a world class team that will shape the future of cannabis by hiring hard-working, passionate people with exceptional customer service skills. The Security Agent works directly with Retail Management in creating a safe and secure environment, that is in full compliance with all regulatory requirements. In addition to the criteria listed below, security agents are require to pass a comprehensive background check to qualify for state regulated agent card and industry-specific and company policy training will be provided.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

Maintaining internal and perimeter store security Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly Monitoring all access and egress points on the property Authorizing entrance of staff and customers Monitoring surveillance cameras Responding to alarms in a compliant and timely manner Acting as Emergency Response point of contact for local police, fire, EMT Providing assistance to staff/customers in need Promptly reporting any suspicious behaviors or activities JOB REQUIREMENTS 2+ years of experience in security or a similar role Must be at least 21 years of age High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Retail experience preferred, cannabis retail experience a plus Exceptional customer service skills Knowledge of basic computer skills Experience with camera surveillance system is preferred. Training in first aid and/or CPR certification is preferred. Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic Willing to build understanding of applicable state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures Must pass any and all required background checks Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation Must have excellent organization and time management skills Must be focused, pay close attention to detail Must be able to internalize training and follow instructions Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
