Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 38-bed mixed ICU serving Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, and Neurosurgery patients, including post-operative open-heart surgery patients
• Manage and monitor patients on advanced support devices including VV and VA ECMO, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, and CRRT
• Assist with and support bedside procedures such as bronchoscopies, GI scopes, chest tube insertions, and arterial and central line insertions
• Perform airway management and frequent drip titrations in a high-acuity environment
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on patient acuity
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care ICU experience in a hospital setting
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• CVICU or CTICU experience, specifically caring for immediate post-operative open-heart surgery patients
