The ideal candidate will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairing of all company fleet at branch and client locations throughout the area. - Complete and follow all Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) and Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs).
- Work independently on customer sites often.
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on light or heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
- Conduct routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Complete and maintain warranty and any other documentation.
- Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn, damaged, or defective components as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through regular housekeeping activities.
- Complete all required documentation, including daily Samsara logs, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Journeyperson Truck and Coach Technician Certificate
- 3+ years' experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic.
- Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset.
- Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset.
- Ability to use diagnostic software.
- Class 5 Driver's License required with a clean drivers abstract
